DETAILED SCOPE AND DESCRIPTION

ATC Consulting Engineers assisted South Burnett Regional Council with a complete pavement rehabilitation project at the Wondai Industrial Estate in 2021.

The project involved pavement rehabilitation and asphalt works under live traffic.

The project provides safe and reliable heavy vehicle access into the industrial estate and was delivered with minimal impacts to businesses in the area.

The pavement design featured an innovative deep lift asphalt from Fulton Hogan (EME2) that allowed a condensed project schedule without sacrificing long-term durability.

The works included:

• Drainage works
• AC pavement and surfacing layers
• Linemarking and signage
• Landscaping

• Design, budget and constructability reviews
• Procurement of subcontractors including asphalt works
