DETAILED SCOPE AND DESCRIPTION

As part of enabling infrastructure for the Paradise Dam Wall Replacement Project, ATC was engaged by North Burnett Regional Council, to provide independent inspection and reporting services for the upgrade of Paradise Dam Road. The scope included monitoring and verification of approximately 10km of road upgrades and realignments, stormwater drainage and culvert upgrades, and associated bridge works.

ATC’s role ensured compliance with design, safety, and environmental requirements, while supporting the Principal’s confidence that the road upgrade was being delivered correctly to ensure the asset is fit for purpose throughout its useful life. Inspections remain ongoing, providing assurance throughout the multi-year delivery process.

PROJECT OUTCOMES

The project delivered 10km of upgraded road and associated civil works, ensuring heavy vehicle access for the dam reconstruction program.

ATC’s independent inspection role provided confidence to Council, supporting compliance, safety and durability of the works.
