DETAILED SCOPE AND DESCRIPTION
ATC Consulting Engineers and Project Managers were engaged to deliver the expansion of the Mundubbera Waste Facility through the design and construction of a new lined landfill cell and supporting infrastructure. The project scope included Cell 1 construction, access roads, leachate management systems, sediment dams (new and upgrades to existing), bio-retention ponds, and landscaping works.
ATC managed the project through design, contract administration, construction delivery and handover, ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements while meeting Council’s long-term sustainability objectives.
PROJECT OUTCOMES
Delivery of a new lined landfill cell and associated civil works, providing the North Burnett Region with improved long-term waste management capacity.
Enhanced leachate and stormwater management systems reduced environmental risks, while compliance with current standards ensured sustainable operations into the future.
