DETAILED SCOPE AND DESCRIPTION

ATC Consulting Engineers assisted North Burnett Regional Council to complete widening and seal rehabilitation works on Gayndah Mt Perry Road at Chainage 29.03 to 30.70km

The works involved:

  • Road Widening – widening the road to 8m formation width
  • Pavement Upgrade – Strengthening the road base and surfacing with a 2-Coat hot bitumen seal
  • Drainage Improvements – Installation of culverts, table drains and stormwater management systems
  • Road Furniture and Line Marking – Applying reflective line marking and retroreflective raised pavement markers for increased visibility

The full scope of ATC Engineers involvement in the project was to upskill NBRC construction crew utilising GPS rovers and machine control to construct to TMR tolerances, specifications, technical standards and policies preparing NBRC for upcoming TMR road projects.
