Allen Christensen
Allen is the founding Director and Principal Engineer of ATC Consulting Engineers and Project Managers which was established in 2007, leading it’s growth to be the thriving consultancy it is today.
Allen is a 30 year veteran of Civil Engineering and Project Management having worked in both the Private and Public sector across Queensland and interstate. Allen has delivered numerous major projects for multiple clients, from Industry Leading Wastewater Treatment Plants, Major Road and Bridge Projects to Strategic Planning and Investigation Projects.
He has experienced numerous changes in Local Government from both sides of the fence and like many in our industry, is bit of a jack of all trades when it comes to engineering. From roads to recycled water, stray dogs to strategic planning, streetscapes to subdivisions – Allen has experienced most issues that Rural and Regional Engineering can throw up.
Leading from the front Allen has developed a small team of Trusted engineering experts and support teams that deliver successful outcome for their clients. Founded on strong cultural standards and internal expectations that deliver results, Allen prides himself on making a difference for his team and his community. Giving back is high on his list of Why’s.
Providing leadership within the engineering profession has seen Allen selected to be on the assessment panel for aspiring Registered Professional Engineers and is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Works Engineers – QLD and a RPEQ himself.

Julian Lockwood
Julian is a Professional Engineer with over 30 years practical experience in Geotechnical, Structural and Civil Engineering.
Julian is actively involved in project management, design and inspection of residential, low rise commercial / industrial structures, failure investigation, piling solutions, tilt panel construction, road repair and maintenance.
Julian has excellent Project Management and Contract Administration expertise and skills for civil, geotechnical, structural and piling projects including providing expert advice on technical matters to private and government clients.
Julian is fully experienced in management of piling and tilt panel projects and co-ordination of up to 25 team members including technical and field staff.
Julian’s key responsibility at ATC Engineers is to oversee and review all designs and reports prior to RPEQ sign off.
Julian has had recent involvement in Council infrastructure projects including airport lighting upgrades, road reseal programs, flood repairs, structures.

Philip De Guzman
Philip is a Civil/Structural RPEQ Engineer with 20 years of experience in planning, design, inspection, and project management of new construction and rehabilitation of civil and building structures.
Philip has broad project experience covering roads and bridges, buildings, foundations, retaining walls, drainage, hydraulic structures, residential and commercial developments, and industrial facilities.
Philip has extensive knowledge and skills in the design and construction of reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures using Australian Standards, IPWEAQ, CMDG, Austroads, DTMR standards, and various international codes.
Philip obtained his Civil Engineering degree at the University of the Philippines with cum laude honours and completed Masters and PhD in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering in Japan.

Cody Granger
Cody is a qualified civil engineer with a wide range of skills and abilities, covering many aspects of engineer and project management.
His experience includes extensive experience with most aspects of local government engineering, including but not limited to; project management, project scoping, design, asset management, GIS mapping, and high level reporting to executive management and Council.
Cody has experience with managing civil crews on roads, drainage, pipelines, treatment plants, and CBD rehabilitation projects. While delivering attention to detail reporting to all levels of stakeholders including high level management and presentation to Council.
Cody also has a strong understanding of asset management systems and has assisted in comprehensive revaluation of asset classes including; transport / infrastructure, parks, buildings, properties and waste. This task included high detail GIS mapping of Council assets and the ongoing management of asset registers and GIS systems.

Tim Hook
Tim is a Senior Technical Officer and brings over two decades of experience in the Geotechnical and Structural engineering space. Throughout his career, Tim has been involved in an array of projects spanning residential, commercial, and industrial. His proficiency in structural design and drafting is demonstrated through his extensive involvement in numerous projects across these sectors. Tim’s portfolio showcases his adeptness in handling multi-disciplinary projects, where he has seamlessly integrated structural and geotechnical design principles, adhering to industry guidelines and codes. In addition to his design prowess, Tim possesses a keen eye for detail cultivated through his hands-on experience in site inspections. Tim’s experience extends to site inspections, managing projects in tilt panel construction including preparing all project documentation and day-to-day support of a construction team—which has strengthened his ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Lynn Smith
With over 30 years experience, Lynn possesses extensive experience in the successful management of office functions.
With a proven record of delivering tasks and projects to meet and exceed financial governance, and customer service requirements.
Lynn is results orientated with highly developed organisational, time management skills and excellent communication.
She is a highly experienced Office Manager and Contracts Administrator who brings an unequalled knowledge of Contract Administration and Processes as well as internal Council financial and infrastructure processes.

Sharlette Calvert
Sharlette joined the ATC Team in May 2022 as ATC’s first Administration Trainee, completing her Certificate III in Business Administration. During her time as a Trainee, Sharlette went on to win Trainee of the Year at the South Burnett Training Awards 2023 and Darling Downs South West Regional Finalist for the Bob Marshman Trainee of the Year 2023. Continuing with ATC as an Administration Officer, she is happy to assist the Team with any admin tasks they may require.

Alison Huntley
Alison has worked in the finance industry for 20 years, and of these has been an accountant for 14 years. Alison started out in FBT and Salary Packaging and prior to joining ATC in 2021, had worked 13 years in State Government, both in Brisbane and locally in the South Burnett. Alison loves all things reporting and spreadsheeting and her goal is to turn the financial dread into delight.

Chloe Smith
Chloe has recently completed her Certificate III in Business (Administration) after joining ATC in 2023 as a Finance Administration Trainee.
Chloe is now building on her interest in finance by continuing her studies in accounting. This next phase of her education will equip her with a comprehensive understanding of financial principles, advanced analytical skills, and the expertise required to excel in the field of finance.
Chloe looks forward to continuing on her finance journey and her many more years with ATC.

Jordan Picton
Jordan is a graduate civil engineer developing a wide range of skills and abilities, covering many aspects of civil engineering. His experience includes project scoping, site inspections, design, analysis and drafting while working on a range of projects for residential, commercial, local and state government, with experience in civil, hydrological, geotechnical and structural areas. Working across different areas simultaneously has strengthened Jordan’s ability to prioritise to deliver multiple projects while maintaining healthy client relationships. Jordan has developed great self-management skills and the ability to fit and contribute to a team environment. His knowledge of various programs to assist in civil design help to ensure that projects are completed efficiently.
